Vehicles and professional simulators are equipped with hundreds of sensors that constantly supervise the car performances. However there is a lack of information about the conditions of the driver behind the wheel.

Thanks to NeuroPerform, that calculates accurate and reliable parameters about the pilot’s mental performances it is possible to combine the information about the car and those concerning the driver to get the full picture and significantly increase the efficacy of training sessions.

We emploied our software to carry out a real-time analysis of the professional driver Alessio Rovera on the AVEHIL simulator of the Skydrive company in the Monza circuit.

Once we put together the information obtained by NeuroPerform and the data related to the simulator, we found a perfect match between mental performances and lap times. We also discovered a connection between the quality of the calibration of the vehicle and the driver’s cognitive output.
